Ee Rynn: mommy, why did u go out from the dance room today?
Mommy: The loud music make Ee Wern cried.
Mommy: Ee Rynn, do u know your daddy is sad?
Ee Rynn: Why? Is it because I said I don't love him?
Mommy: What do u think?
Ee Rynn: But mommy, I love you.
Mommy: Thank you. Ee Rynn, we don't say hurtful words to people we love.
Ee Rynn: But mommy, I don't beat daddy.
Mommy: You associate hurt with beat/punch?
Ee Rynn: Yes
Mommy: Hurt doesn't mean physical, it means words too.
Ee Rynn: oh
Mommy: Daddy work very hard to provide for us.
Ee Rynn: You mean you don't work mommy?
Mommy: I work from home.
Ee Rynn: But mommy, I want you to go to work and daddy stay home taking care of me ad Ee Wern.
Mommy: Do you want mommy to work?
Ee Rynn: Yes. Because daddy can play with me whole day. But I still love you mommy.
She is so cute. Daddy to her is play! Mommy to her is work. This is because mommy set up all the routine at home.

Husband's appreciation
2nd June 2012
I received a gift today. It's a handbag. Yes, I am happy even I am not hand bag person.
I am happy because the thought that comes with the handbag. My husband said he wants to show his appreciation on things I have done for our family. He appreciate my role as a mom and wife.
I feel so blessed. Blessed because I have a husband who appreciate me.

Ee Wern's milestone - sleeping habit
31st May 2012 : 3 months 3 weeks old
Ee Wern's sleeping habit has become predictable despite all the crazy traveling. She started to travel since a month old.
I feel she is so special as she adjust to new environment in a day or two. After 3 weeks training her to sleep on her own, she achieved the ability to self soothe n sleep. It's a blessing.
This 3 weeks is an experience to me. It had teach me the important of consistency n predictability again. I allowed her to practice to self soothe many times. It's important for baby n children as it gives them a sense of security.
As of 31st May, Ee Wern is able to sleep on her own. Sometimes she cried, sometimes she doesn't. She self soothe herself very well in the day time. As for night time, she needs me sometime.
With consistence practice, I am sure she will master the skill of self soothe to sleep soon.

Will tissue melt in water?
This morning, Ee Rynn asked me whether tissue will melt in water.
I encouraged her to do the experiment. So she bring her container, spoon and some tissue.
After half an hour, she told me that tissue don't melt in the water. I am so glad that she lead this learning experience on her own. She is curious, so she lead herself to find the answer.
What I have done is just provide her the environment to learn.

10 years milestones

Wow.. This sentence reminded me of a list of dream that we (me and my husband) wrote down 10 years ago.
We were university graduate back then. We were n still motivated, looking n searching to experience best things in life.
One of the dream I wrote was I want to stay home to take care of my children and bring my children to different places around the world for learning experiences. His dream is to be our favourite hero in the family and being able to provide for us.
10 years goes by. The universe has provide and our dream came through in 2011. Of course along the journey, there were lots of ups and downs. Thinking back, when were wrote that dreams, we never knew ways to achieve it. The universe continue to provide and lead us. I like to think God has plans for us.
We were introduce to a business opportunity that has lots of potential by helping people. Through associations and books, we grow so so much, as a person. We are truly bless with the friendship that comes along with it.
Now, I am a stay home mom nurturing 2 lovely daughters. I am bringing my daughters around for learning experiences too. My husband achieved his dream by providing for the family.
This is not the end. We are still on the look out to achieve more. There are so many exciting plans ahead of us. I want to thank God for holding our hands along the way.

Life Skill - cleanliness at home
Today we have decided to clean the house.

Ee Rynn's first hair cut in Singapore
30th May 2012
4 years 6 months old
Today is our first day in Singapore. We went out for lunch. My intention is to bring Ee Rynn for a hair cut.
As we walked around the mall, we found a salon specialized in children hair cut. Wow! So I decided to give her a treat.
While she had her hair done, she watch Dora The Explorer. This salon had a little play area for children too.
